What is the best option to increase the reach of my wireless network?
I have a netgear WGU624 stationed in another room. I have an ethernet cable that comes all the way to my desktop. However, i got a new netbook and the signal is very low most of the times. How can I solve my problem? I was thinking of connecting another router to this ethernet cable i have, but i’m not sure if that’ll work. Please, any tips?
If you want a signal to go a little farther, you could use a better router. You can use more than one together, but you will need to install a bunch of extra stuff to make it work well. If you want much longer range access, and you can get WiMax from Clear, get it. It is high speed long range wireless. Unfortunately it is only available in Portland, Oregon at the moment, but it will be in other cities soon.
